Ms. Maddocks

There are 3 values that have guided my 19 years in education:  equity, compassion, and integrity.  Equity means that all children get what they need while they are in our care.  Children learn best when their needs are fully met, and they feel safe.  Compassion means that I work to develop relationships with families and staff in order to develop trust and a healthy relationship.  To understand what struggles they may be facing and support them to the best of my ability.  Integrity means that I follow through on my commitments and obligations. 

My vision for our school is to provide your child with a nurturing, positive environment where all children are accepted and included.  We will do this by providing a joyful learning environment that is developmentally appropriate and one where each child’s strengths are celebrated.  We will strive to educate the whole child so that they leave our school ready for kinder and the world.  Our staff will cultivate an environment that is culturally responsive to your family and child.  We will ensure that your child’s classroom reflects your family’s culture as well as providing them with a window to new cultures and customs.
